Mikel Rius

Mikel Rius is the founder of Beer Events SL, where Mikel organizes events around craft beer, with the Barcelona Beer Festival being the main project. Mikel is also a co-owner of Cerveses La Pirata and serves as the Head Teacher at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, teaching 'The Beer Sector' subject. Additionally, Mikel is a recognized beer judge for the Beer Judge Certification Program and has experience as a teacher in vocational training for the Generalitat de Catalunya. Previously, Mikel worked as a Renewables Energies Engineer in various companies, specializing in solar energy projects. Mikel Rius holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
