Alain Ninane

Alain Ninane is an experienced professional in the fields of information security and system engineering, currently serving as the Conseiller à la Sécurité Numérique de la Propriété Intellectuelle and Chief Information Security Officer at Université catholique de Louvain since May 2005. In addition, Alain holds the position of Coordinator of the IT Security Team SISG/SGSI and has managed various projects related to identity management, including MIDAS-1 and Projet 71. Alain also has experience as a Manager responsible for the information system for the sector Cardinal Mercier and has contributed as a System Engineer. Since July 2004, Alain has been managing the development of UNIX solutions for research laboratories in nuclear physics at Slashdev Integrated Systems Solutions. Previously, from February 2006 to August 2020, Alain taught courses in the Bachelors degree program in Business Data Processing at Institut Paul Lambin, focusing on UNIX operating systems. Alain began a career as a System Engineer at Institut de physique nucléaire from 1988 to 2005, following the attainment of a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Université catholique de Louvain in 1986.
