Alice Covatta is an accomplished academic and architect with extensive experience in academia and professional practice. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Architecture, City and Territory at Université de Montréal since December 2020, Alice also co-founded COPE Architects and contributes as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Urban Design and Mental Health. Previous roles include Senior Architect at Albert Abut Architecture and researcher at Keio University, where Alice led a post-doc project on architectural design in relation to the 2020 Olympic event. Alice has held visiting professorships and various consultancy roles, reflecting a dedicated focus on urban design, mental health, and the interplay between architecture and everyday experiences.
