Geneviève Bouchard holds a doctorate in comparative public policy from McMaster University and a master's degree in political science from Laval University. From 2001 to 2010, she was director of research at the Institute for Research on Public Policy, then coordinator of the university mission at the Center Dollard-Cormier ‒ University Institute on Addictions. In 2011, she joined the management team of the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal as Director of the Dean's Office and Director of Communications and International Relations. Since 2017, she has served as Director of International Affairs at UdeM.
