Mario Therrien

Mario Therrien has extensive experience in information technology and management within academic institutions. Currently, at Université de Montréal since October 2007, Mario serves as Directeur TI for Solutions d'affaires institutionnelles, focusing on technopédagogical portfolios and overseeing user services and microcomputer development. Responsibilities include establishing policies and architecture standards for workstations and managing institutional microcomputer needs and budgets. Prior to this, Mario held the position of Director/CIO of Information Technology Services at York University from April 1999 to October 2007, where the design and implementation of information management and technology services were directed for the Osgoode Hall Law School and Glendon College. Mario holds dual MBA degrees from Schulich School of Business and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, complemented by a B.Sc. in Computer Sciences from York University.
