Akila Taleb-Karlsson has extensive experience in academia and legal consultancy, currently serving as Co-director of the Master's program in Justice, Trial, Procedures, and Criminal Litigation at Université de Toulon since 2014. In addition to lecturing in various areas of criminal law and justice, Akila is involved in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students and the design of academic materials. Previously, roles included Director of Studies for LLM and LLB programs at Université de Toulon and Legal Consultant for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, focusing on significant legal cases in both national and international criminal law.
