Jacob Lessard-Lord

Jacob Lessard-Lord is a postdoctoral intern at Université Laval since October 2023, following a research assistant role at INAF - Université Laval from May 2019 to October 2023, where methods for targeted and untargeted metabolomic analysis were developed. Previous teaching experience includes a position as a chemistry instructor at Cégep de Shawinigan for an advanced analytical chemistry course in late 2021 and a role as a first-cycle teaching assistant in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Université Laval in early 2019. Jacob's earlier career includes laboratory technician experience in analytical chemistry at CNETE, developing methods for analyzing mannosylerythritol lipids and conducting various chromatographic analyses. Academic qualifications include a PhD and a Master's degree in plant biology with a focus on metabolomics, alongside a Bachelor's degree in chemistry and a college diploma in laboratory techniques for analytical chemistry, all obtained from Université Laval and Collège Shawinigan between 2014 and 2023.
