Jean Lemay

Deputy Vice Rector, Faculty & Academic Affairs at Université Laval

Jean Lemay is the current Deputy Vice Rector, Faculty & Academic Affairs at Université Laval. Jean has an extensive background in education, having previously worked as a professor and administrator at UQTR - Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, PROTEO, and CNETE (CCTT-Collège Shawinigan). Jean's experience and dedication to education have made their a valuable asset to Université Laval, and they look forward to continuing to serve the university community in their current role.

Jean Lemay has a PhD in Biologie cellulaire et moléculaire from Université de Sherbrooke, a Maîtrise in Biologie cellulaire et moléculaire from Université de Sherbrooke, and a Baccalauréat in Biologie (concentration Biotechnologie) from Université de Sherbrooke. Jean also has a Technique in Chimie-Biologie from Collège Shawinigan.

Jean Lemay reports to Sophie D'amours, Rector.
