Steve Labrie has extensive experience in the field of microbiology, particularly focusing on dairy microbiology and cheese research. Currently serving as the Directeur of the Centre STELA and a Professor at Université Laval since June 2004, Steve Labrie specializes in hygiene and safety in food processing plants. Prior experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship and a visiting student role at North Carolina State University in 2001. Steve Labrie holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Microbiology from Université Laval, earned between 2000 and 2004.
