Halima Begum

Halima Begum is an Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer at the School of Economics, Finance and Banking, Universiti Utara Malaysia, with extensive experience in teaching, research, and project leadership focused on finance and banking. Halima serves as a Review Editor for Frontiers in Environmental Science and as a Board Member for the Islamic Sustainable Finance & Investment Forum, actively contributing to the discourse on Shariah-compliant financial markets. Additional roles include being a Board Member of the World Association of Professors on Sustainability Science and Research, Associate Editor for various journals, and a researcher at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Halima holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Management from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and an MBA in Finance and Banking from International Islamic University Chittagong.
