Chase Haddix

Chase Haddix is a Senior Biomedical Engineering Researcher at USRA, working with the Exploration Medical Integrated Product Team (XMIPT) at NASA Glenn Research Center since October 2023. This role involves developing biomedical devices for microgravity environments, leading the Multi-functional Integrated Medical Device project for Mars analog CHAPEA, and overseeing the miniature X-ray technology demonstration. Previously, Chase served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky, where a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering was obtained. Earlier experiences include research internships and co-op positions at Accelerated Rehabilitation Technologies, Zimmer, and Transposagen Biopharmaceuticals, including significant contributions to implant development and rehabilitation software programming. Chase earned a B.S. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Purdue University.
