David Bell

David Bell, Ph.D., is an accomplished leader in research and development, currently serving as the Director of the Research Institute for Advanced Computer Science at USRA since 2002. With a focus on artificial intelligence and quantum artificial intelligence, David has founded several significant programs, including the Generative AI Lab for Science & Engineering and the Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab. Previously, David held roles as Director and Chief Technologist for NASA Academic Mission Services, overseeing university collaborations in science and technology. David's innovative contributions also include patented technologies in cloud computing and electronic markets from tenures at Xerox PARC and MIT. David holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University.
