Kenny Cheung has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Kenny started their career in 1995 as an Applications Engineer/Consultant at Prescient Technologies, where they developed knowledge-based systems for mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing applications. Kenny then worked as a Software Specialist at Computer Associates from 1997 to 1998. Kenny joined Raytheon in 1998 as a Task Manager/Principal Software Engineer, where they led various flight control design and optimization projects and co-authored technical publications. In 2012, Kenny became the Technical Director/Co-founder of Digicodesign Limited. Kenny then moved on to NASA Ames Research Center in 2004, where they served as a Senior Task Manager/Principal Flight Control Software Engineer until 2016. Currently, Kenny works at USRA as the Technical Area Lead, Aeroflightdynamics/Chief Software Architect, overseeing the USRA Aeroflightdynamics technical area to support research activities of the U.S. Army Technology Development Directorate at NASA Ames Research Center.
Kenny Cheung completed a Master's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering (Dual degrees) from the University of California, Davis, from 1988 to 1993.
