Michael Cournyea

Michael Cournyea, CPA, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the University at Buffalo Neurosurgery since November 2013. Previously, Michael held the position of Instructor at Canisius College from March 2013 to May 2015, and served as Business Manager at Roswell Park Cancer Institute from September 2011 to October 2013. Michael's earlier experience includes working as a Supervisor in the Healthcare Practice at Freed Maxick & Battaglia, CPAs from September 2007 to September 2011, and as a Management Consultant at Apollo Healthcare, LLC from January 2004 to September 2007. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from the State University of New York Cortland and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Niagara University.
