Amanda Boyer

Amanda Boyer is an experienced education professional currently serving as Head of School at Blackburn College since September 2022, overseeing further education and higher education programs in health and social care, early years, and Access to HE. Prior to this role, Amanda held the position of Curriculum Leader for health and social work professions at Nelson and Colne College from September 2016 to September 2022 and worked as a lecturer at Accrington & Rossendale College, where Amanda developed and taught a mental health course as well as health and social care subjects. Amanda's earlier healthcare experience includes positions at Sabden & Whalley Medical Limited and Peel House Medical Practice, focusing on patient education and clinical procedures.
