Zivojin Jevtic

Zivojin Jevtic is a project leader and postdoctoral researcher at the University Children's Hospital Basel, focusing on epigenomic lesions in acute erythroid leukemia under Prof. Jürg Schwaller since September 2021. Prior to this role, Zivojin served as a postdoctoral researcher at IFOM, the FIRC Institute for Molecular Oncology, where work involved publishing the PhD project while also contributing as a PhD student in the Functional Proteomics Group led by Dr. Angela Bachi, focusing on NUP98-NSD1 interactors and their role in leukemogenesis. Zivojin's early experience includes positions as a junior teaching assistant at Petnica Science Center and as a master's student in bioanalytical mass spectrometry at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry. Internships at the University of Cambridge and the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics further enriched Zivojin's background. Zivojin holds a PhD in Fundamentals of Cancer Biology from The Open University, a master’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Göttingen, and a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology & Physiology from the University of Belgrade.
