Jeanette Brown, PMP has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Jeanette is currently the Director of Project Management at University Clinical Health, where they lead the implementation of project management processes and oversees project management for a large facility expansion. Prior to this, they worked at Qsource as a Project Manager, overseeing a multifaceted 5-year contract and providing project management structure to internal departments. Jeanette also served as an Oncology Data Analyst at Bon Secours Health System, where they served as a technical resource for data use in clinical quality improvement and performed data analysis and presentation. Earlier in their career, Jeanette gained experience in quality improvement through an internship at Alabama Quality Assurance Foundation, and they successfully launched and managed a professional pet sitting service as Owner and Manager of Three Dogs and a Lady Professional Pet Sitting.
Jeanette Brown, PMP earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Greenville Technical College from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Health Information Management.
In addition to their formal education, Jeanette has obtained several certifications. Jeanette became a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) Retired through the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) in August 2016. Jeanette also holds a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification from AHIMA International, which they acquired in March 2013. Furthermore, they are a Project Management Professional (PMP)®, certified by the Project Management Institute since June 2019. Jeanette also holds a Smartsheet Product Certified User certification, earned in September 2019. Lastly, they are a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, though the date of certification is unknown.
