Lisa Brown Rodgers has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Lisa worked as an Operations Manager at University Clinical Health from July 2020, where they collaborated with different organizations to establish mobile testing and vaccination service lines. Lisa oversaw vaccination operations that provided over 125,000 Covid vaccines to Memphis and Shelby County residents and helped establish Covid testing service lines. In terms of media experience, Lisa worked as an ASU TV news Reporter/Anchor/Producer at Arkansas State University from August 2012 to December 2012, where they completed reporting assignments, produced bi-weekly newscasts, and anchored for the newscast. Lisa also interned at WLBT in 2012, performing reporting assignments and assisting producers for daily newscasts. Lisa served as an ASU TV 13 News Anchor/Reporter at Alcorn State University from August 2010 to May 2012, where they were the lead anchor for a student-produced weekly newscast and completed reporting assignments.
Furthermore, Lisa gained media intern experience at Rolling Out Magazine in July 2011, where they interned for Zondra Hughes. Additionally, they interned as a Programming Intern at WLS ABC 7 from May 2011 to August 2011, where they co-produced an entertainment segment and aided producers with various production tasks for 190 North.
Lisa Brown Rodgers earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Alcorn State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master's of Mass Communication degree at Arkansas State University from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Master's of Science in Mass Communications with a specialization in Radio/Television from Arkansas State University between 2012 and 2014.
