Cheryl Phifer

Cheryl Phifer has over three decades of extensive experience in the retail industry, currently serving as President and CEO of University Co-op since February 2016. Previously, Cheryl held various leadership roles at Barnes & Noble, Inc., including Regional Vice President from January 2012 to January 2016, and Regional Director and District Manager from 1995 to 2011. Cheryl also gained valuable experience as a District Manager at Casual Corner Group, Waldenbooks, and The Children's Place, contributing to a solid foundation in retail management. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
