Anissa Zacharias is a Software Engineer II at UCAR - The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research since July 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Tech Research Institute from August 2018 to May 2020, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from August 2015 to July 2018, where contributions included maintaining Fortran 77 code and modeling neutral upper atmospheric hydrogen. Anissa also worked as a Physical Sciences Grader for Physics I and II, and completed an Engineering Internship at Solar Stik, Inc., focusing on graphic design and technical writing. Anissa holds a Master’s degree in Scientific Computing and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computational Mathematics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
