Abigail Hughes

Abigail Hughes is a Clinical Lead Pharmacist in Critical Care at University Health KC, a position held since June 2020, and also serves as the Critical Care Residency Program Director. In addition, Abigail is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at UMKC School of Pharmacy since 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Clinical Pharmacist at Children's Mercy Hospital and completing a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. Abigail also completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and gained early experience as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmaceutical Studies from the same institution.
