Chris Ferron

Chris Ferron is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Director of Advanced Practice at UT Medical Center since July 2021. Prior to this role, Chris held various leadership positions, including Lead Advance Practice Clinician and Physician Assistant at Edward-Elmhurst Health from March 2012 to July 2021, where responsibilities included recruitment, staffing, and operational oversight of advanced practice clinicians. Chris also contributed to the governance of advanced practice providers as Chairperson of the APP Governance Council at Edward Hospital from September 2019 to May 2021. Earlier career highlights include serving as Vice President of Operations at ApolloMD, Clinical Risk Executive at The Sullivan Group, and various roles as a Physician Assistant across multiple healthcare settings. Chris holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Monmouth College.
