Edwin Griffin has extensive experience in process improvement and performance excellence across various industries, particularly in healthcare. Currently serving as a Lean Process Engineer in Quality and Patient Safety at UT Medical Center since May 2013, Edwin previously held the position of Director of Performance Excellence at Catholic Health Initiatives, where initiatives in process improvement, organizational development, and statistical analysis were led. Prior to this, Edwin worked as a Senior Management Consultant in Lean Healthcare at RWD, providing consulting services to diverse sectors including healthcare and automotive. Experience also includes a role as a Supplier Development Engineer at Nissan Motor Co., focusing on Lean manufacturing activities, and as a Pipe Stress Design Engineer at Gilbert Commonwealth Engineers, conducting field research on piping systems.
