Iliana McGurn

Iliana McGurn, LCSW, is a dedicated clinical therapist with extensive experience in social work, particularly in pediatric transplant care and critical care services. Currently serving at GainWel, Inc. since May 2021 and at University Health since August 2016, Iliana has a history of providing comprehensive social services and counseling to patients with diverse medical challenges. Previous roles include Transplant Social Worker at CHRISTUS Health and Medical Social Worker at Weirton Medical Center, where responsibilities included managing cases for patients in acute settings. Educationally, Iliana holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Additionally, Iliana has contributed to academia as a field liaison and professor, mentoring aspiring social workers, and has engaged with at-risk populations through various internships and volunteer roles throughout the career journey.
