Stephan Jonas

Stephan Jonas has a diverse work experience in the field of digital medicine and medical informatics. Stephan is currently the Director of the Department of Digital Medicine at the University Clinic Bonn since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Professor at the Technical University of Munich starting from April 2019.

Before joining the Technical University of Munich, Stephan Jonas served as the Head of Division for mHealth at the mHealth Division, Department of Medical Informatics, RWTH Aachen University, from May 2014 to March 2019. Stephan also worked as a Senior Researcher at the Department of Medical Informatics, University Hospital RWTH Aachen, from December 2012 to May 2014.

Stephan Jonas gained international experience through their roles at Yale University School of Medicine, where they worked as a Lecturer from November 2011 to October 2012, and as a Graduate Fellow/Associate from December 2009 to October 2011. Stephan also served as a Visiting Fellow at Reykjavik University from June 2010 to October 2010.

Stephan'searly work experience includes being a Hiwi at RWTH Aachen University from March 2006 to June 2009.

Stephan Jonas completed their education at RWTH Aachen University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from 2003 to 2009. Stephan later pursued a Doctor of theoretical medicine degree at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen from 2010 to 2014.
