Britta Ploscik, BA, MPH, CIC, currently serves as a Senior Infection Preventionist at University Hospitals since May 2023 and holds a position as Adjunct Faculty in the Biology department at Lorain County Community College since August 2021. In addition, Ploscik has been a Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach for the YMCA of the USA since March 2017 and worked as an Infection Control Practitioner at Lake Health until May 2024. Previously, roles included Instructor at Little Medical School and Humanitarian Aid Program Manager at MedWish International, where responsibilities included vetting applications for aid and managing medical supply distributions. Earlier experience encompasses management and educational roles at Playhouse Square, The Kiddie Company Enrichment Center, Wildwater Kingdom, and Ursuline College, where tutoring in microbiology was provided. Ploscik's academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Public Health from A.T. Still University, a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Chemistry from Ursuline College, and a nursing certificate from the Central School of Practical Nursing.
