Gautam Korakavi

Gautam Korakavi currently serves as a Resident Doctor at University Hospitals since June 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Technician B at Columbia University Medical Center from October 2013 to May 2015 and as an Undergraduate Researcher at University of Michigan Health System from April 2011 to August 2013. During the undergraduate research tenure, Korakavi collaborated on studying proteins involved in the DNA damage response, optimized reaction protocols, utilized NCBI tools for gene research, and maintained laboratory organization. Academically, Korakavi earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Central Michigan University in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from University of Michigan in 2013.
