Sameer Avasarala

Sameer Avasarala is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine since August 2021 and also serves as an Interventional Pulmonologist at University Hospitals. Prior experience includes positions as a Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, as well as an Interventional Pulmonology Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Sameer Avasarala completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic and was a Doximity Fellow. Leadership experience includes serving as Chief Resident and a Resident Physician at Henry Ford Health System. Sameer Avasarala earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences from 2005 to 2011.
