Angelo Guarino is a qualified project engineer at University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. since June 2020, contributing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to commercial and industrial projects, particularly in the HVAC and Plumbing reconstruction of the Camino Founders buildings at USD. Previously, as Academic Excellence Chair for the National Society of Black Engineers from September 2018 to May 2021, Angelo supported operations, fundraising, and event planning to enhance member opportunities. Early experiences include roles at Sushi Deli as a restaurant server and Bert's Bistro as a lead closer, where strong work ethic and customer service skills were highlighted. Additionally, leading day camp groups at The Salvation Army Kroc Center enhanced leadership abilities. Angelo holds a BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering from the University of San Diego.
