David Sample

David Sample is an experienced steamfitter and pipefitter with a diverse background in the construction and mechanical industries. Since May 2019, David has worked for PLUMBING, PIPING & CONSTRUCTION, INC., and Silicon Valley Mechanical, while also holding a position at University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. since August 2016. Previous roles include pipefitting at Harris Mechanical and Control Air Conditioning, and significant contributions to projects like the Chevron and Abengoa Solar Project in various capacities, including Foreman and Journeyman Pipefitter. David's educational foundation includes a Journeyman certification from the Local 350 Reno Nevada JATC. Notable supervisory experience includes leading crews at the Ivanpah Solar Generating Facility while at Bechtel Corporation.
