Shannon Hayes, BSN, RN, currently serves as a Clinical Nurse Educator and Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at University Medical Center New Orleans since November 2021. Prior to this role, Shannon worked as a Cardiovascular Surgical Nurse at Gundersen Health System from March 2018 to May 2020. Shannon holds a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing with a focus on Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing from Grand Canyon University, completed between 2019 and 2021, and an Associate of Science degree obtained from Montgomery College from 1995 to 1998.
