Thomas Patrias, FACHE, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at University Medical Center New Orleans since January 2024. Prior to this role, Thomas held various leadership positions at Tulane Health System, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, from March 2018 to January 2024. Thomas served as CEO at Bayfront Health Spring Hill from May 2014 to March 2018 and as Chief Operating Officer at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center from July 2012 to May 2014. Additional experience includes the role of Chief Operating Officer at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center and Associate Administrator at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Thomas began a career in engineering as an Electrical Engineer at Vulcan Materials Company and Albert Kahn Associates, Inc. Thomas holds an MBA in Finance from USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University.
