Mia Romero

Mia Romero currently serves as the Director of Foundation Development at the University Medical Center of El Paso, a position held since November 2024. Prior to this role, Mia held various positions at the El Paso Chamber, including Vice President of Advocacy and Government Affairs and Director of Advocacy from January 2023 to November 2024. Additionally, Mia worked as a Strategic Initiatives Coordinator for The City of El Paso Texas for a brief period in late 2022, and as a Program Coordinator at the El Paso Chamber from December 2021 to September 2022. Earlier experience includes roles at Mesilla Valley Hospital, where Mia served as Director of Medical Records and held positions as Executive Assistant to the CEO and Medical Records Clerk from March 2018 to November 2020. Mia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at El Paso, completing the degree in December 2017.
