Margaret Whiteside

Margaret Whiteside serves as the Assistant Director of Engagement for Alumni Partner Development at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since August 2021, focusing on strategic partnerships and alumni engagement. Previously, Margaret held positions at Portraits, Inc., managing alumni and student engagement, and at The Altamont School, where responsibilities included directing the Alumni Association and overseeing marketing communications. Margaret's experience spans roles in client development at Sotheby's and internships in advertising and legal settings, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from The University of the South and an Advanced Certificate in American Art from Sotheby's Institute of Art.
