Steven Brown

Steven Brown serves as the Chief of Sports & Exercise Medicine and Assistant Professor of Sports & Exercise Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since October 2022, while also holding the role of Team Physician. Additionally, Steven Brown is the Head Team Physician for the United States Football League (USFL) and provides medical support to various teams, including the Birmingham Bulls Hockey, Birmingham Legion FC, and USA Wheelchair Rugby under the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. Previous experience includes serving as Team Physician for Christian Brothers University, Memphis Redbirds, Memphis Grizzlies, Briarcrest Christian High School, and St. Mary's Episcopal School. Steven Brown earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the UAB Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
