Fred Villa has extensive experience in leadership and management within the Alaska process industry and education sectors. Currently serving as Associate Vice President at the University of Alaska since March 2006, Fred Villa also contributes as a Board Director for the Alaska Process Industry Careers Consortium since 1999. Previously, Fred Villa held the position of Special Assistant to the Bishop for the Catholic Bishop of Northern Alaska from April 2005 to April 2006. An accomplished professional in operations and training, Fred Villa spent 20 years at North Pole Refinery, advancing from Operator to Operations, Maintenance, and Distribution Training Manager, ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Fred Villa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of South Dakota between 1977 and 1981.
