Jarkko Toivanen

Jarkko Toivanen has extensive experience in telecommunications and management, currently serving as the Sr. Manager of OIT Telecommunications Services at the University of Alaska since June 2000, overseeing a team that manages telecommunication support across the University of Alaska Fairbanks and its remote campuses. Prior to this role, Jarkko worked as a Lead Communications Specialist, handling incident and change management for telecommunication services. Earlier experience includes a position as a Bridge Operator with the Alaska Teleconferencing Network and as a Store Manager for Far North Ventures Ltd, where management and customer service were key responsibilities. Jarkko holds a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Concordia College.
