Amir Khan

Amir Khan is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on employer relationship management and quality engineering. Currently serving as the Employer Relationship Manager for the Faculty of Engineering Co-op at the University of Alberta since May 2016, Amir facilitates the development of engineering students through industry work terms. Previously, from September 2010 to November 2015, Amir held the position of Sustaining Engineering Manager at Top-Co Inc., where responsibilities included enhancing quality through root cause analysis and compliance monitoring, leading a team to achieve 100% compliance in quality and safety initiatives, and improving communication between departments. Amir also has experience as a Senior Engineer and Engineer at Top-Co Inc. and R&M Energy Systems, respectively, delivering significant improvements in manufacturing processes and regional sales training. Amir holds a Bachelor's of Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta and a high school diploma from Harry Ainlay.
