Amy Gao is an experienced professional with a strong background in computer science and business intelligence. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Analysis at the University of Alberta since September 2014, Amy has held various roles including Business Intelligence Team Lead and Senior Research Systems Analyst. Prior experience includes a position as Reporting Analyst at Alberta Motor Association, where Amy developed OLAP cubes and dashboards, and a role as Programmer Analyst at the University of Saskatchewan, providing technical support for systems and managing multiple upgrade projects. Amy’s career commenced with a professional internship as a Software Developer at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, where development of a model-centric code generation system took place. Academically, Amy holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan.
