David Dejong

David deJong is an experienced professional in mechanical engineering with a career spanning multiple roles in academia and industry. Currently serving as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Alberta, David teaches design and manufacturing courses, building on a solid educational foundation that includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. David has been the Principal at Caprica Consulting Limited since 2007, specializing in lean manufacturing consulting and product development. Previous leadership roles include Director and CEO at FEPSim, focusing on wrist and hand rehabilitation products, and Director and President at Karma Machining & Manufacturing Ltd., offering contract manufacturing services. David's extensive experience also includes teaching positions at NAIT and the University of Alberta, as well as engineering roles in companies like CAN-K Artificial Lift Systems, Big Iron Drilling Ltd., and Visionwall Technologies Inc.
