Lindsay Bliss

Interim Director, Partnerships And Director, Internal Communications at University of Alberta

Lindsay Bliss has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Lindsay has held various roles in different organizations, including the University of Alberta, Blatchford Redevelopment Office (City of Edmonton), City of Edmonton, and ATB Financial.

At the University of Alberta, Lindsay served as the Interim Director of Partnerships and Director of Internal Communications, leading a team of over 50 professionals in delivering both external and internal communications and marketing services. Lindsay also worked as the Director of Internal Communications, overseeing communications and marketing for over 50,000 current students, staff, and faculty members.

Prior to their roles at the University of Alberta, Lindsay worked as the Director of Communications in the Office of the Dean of Students, managing marketing and communications services for various academic and wellness supports across campus.

In their role as a Senior Marketing Strategist at the Blatchford Redevelopment Office, Lindsay contributed their marketing expertise to the redevelopment project.

During their time at the City of Edmonton, Lindsay held multiple positions, including Manager of Economic Initiatives, Manager of Strategic Marketing, and Senior Marketing Advisor. In these roles, they designed and managed capacity development activities for small business owners and organizations, created and executed city-wide marketing strategies, and supervised marketing staff and interns.

Lastly, Lindsay worked as a Marketing Manager at ATB Financial, where they developed and executed provincial marketing campaigns.

Throughout their career, Lindsay has demonstrated their leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to manage teams and projects effectively.

Lindsay Bliss has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta.
