Matt Knight

Matt Knight serves as the Executive Director of the Alberta Business Family Institute at the University of Alberta since October 2022. Alongside this role, Matt operates a consulting practice as a Business Advisor and Consultant since June 2016. Additionally, Matt is the Entrepreneur in Residence at Spring Activator and previously held the position of In House Entrepreneur & VP of Operations at Cashco Financial. Matt co-founded Polar Park Brewing Co. and served as Managing Director at Umay Care and GO Productivity. An experienced leader, Matt's background includes roles at Ledcor, EY, and Deloitte. Matt holds an MBA in Economic Development from Cape Breton University and is currently enrolled in the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.
