Omid Asghari, PhD, MAusIMM, is a seasoned geostatistician and resource geologist with extensive experience in geological strategy and resource development. Currently, Omid serves as a Research Associate at the University of Alberta, focusing on advanced geostatistical tools to enhance estimation accuracy in porphyry system deposits. Previous roles include supervising the Resource Geology Department at PASCO from 2020 to 2022, where Omid provided exploration services and resource estimation reports for various metallic projects in Iran.
