Robert Perez

Robert Perez is an experienced professional in data management and governance, currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Information Governance at the University of Alberta since April 2023. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Director of Data Management at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) from March 2013 to March 2023, where responsibilities included leading data governance, enhancing data efficiencies, and overseeing business intelligence and reporting initiatives. Earlier in the career, Robert served as Vice President of Data at Statpro Canada Inc. and held positions such as Manager of Fixed Income and Director of Fixed Income at Initram Data. Additionally, Robert began the professional journey at Optimal Robotics as a Manager in Project Management from March 2000 to April 2003.
