Tony Briggs

Tony Briggs is an Executive Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Alberta, where research focuses on technology entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategy. Since 2016, Tony has taught the MBA and Executive MBA Strategy Capstone courses, overseeing numerous projects. As the Executive Director and co-founder of the eHUB Entrepreneurship Centre, Tony supports entrepreneurial initiatives. Additionally, Tony serves as a board member and chair of the ESMF Advisory Committee for the Edmonton Screen Industries Office. Previously, Tony was a founding member of the VMS Advisory Board at the University of Alberta and held various roles in industry-related positions. Tony holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Boston University and advanced degrees from MIT and the University of British Columbia.
