Carolina Pascual Villalobos

Carolina Pascual Villalobos is a prominent academic and professional in the field of telecommunications. Currently serving as Profesora Titular de Universidad at the University of Alicante since October 2002, Carolina also holds the position of Comisionada de Digitalización y Ciberseguridad within the Generalitat Valenciana since July 2022, having previously been Consellera de Innovación, Universidades, Ciencia y Sociedad Digital from June 2019 to May 2022. Carolina's extensive experience includes leadership roles such as Decana COITCV and President of AVIT from March 2016 to June 2019, and various academic positions at the University of Alicante, including the management of postgraduate programs and the direction of the Master's in Telecommunications Engineering. Carolina holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València and a Doctorate from the University of Alicante.
