Claske Vos

Ud/ Assistant Professor European Studies at University of Amsterdam

Claske Vos is a seasoned researcher and academic with extensive experience in European studies and cultural policy. Currently serving as the Principal Investigator for the HERA project En/Counter/points at the University of Amsterdam since October 2012, Vos leads research focused on the efforts of cultural workers in Southeast Europe to reintegrate into the broader European cultural framework amidst post-socialist challenges. In addition, Vos holds the position of Assistant Professor within ACCESS Europe, examining the role of European institutions in shaping cultural policy to foster European integration in candidate countries. Previous roles include Assistant for the MA in Archaeological Heritage Management at the Faculty of Archaeology, University of Leiden, and PhD candidate at the University of Aarhus, investigating local adaptations of European heritage programs in Serbia. Vos's academic background includes an MA in Cultural Anthropology from Radboud University and an advanced MA in Southeast European Studies from UCL.
