Victor Land serves as the Impact Lead for the Quantum Faculty of Science at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on leading research and development in quantum technologies since September 2024. Previously, Victor held significant roles in various organizations, including as Coordinator for Quantum & Society at Quantum Delta NL, where strategic planning and budget management for a €20 million program were key responsibilities. Victor was instrumental in securing substantial funding as a co-author of major proposals, including a €615 million Groeifonds proposal in 2021. Additional experience includes project coordination at QuSoft, R&D coordination at Quantum.Amsterdam, and advisory roles in initiatives like Women in Quantum Development. Victor's academic groundwork includes a PhD in Complex Plasma Physics from Utrecht University, complemented by extensive research work in plasma physics at institutions such as Baylor University and NWO Science.
