Vernard Henley

Vernard Henley has extensive experience in academic leadership, currently serving as the Assistant Dean for the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics and the College of Engineering & Information Technology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock since 2006. Additionally, Vernard has held the roles of Director of Recruitment & Outreach and Director of Educational Outreach & Diversity within the university. Prior to this, Vernard worked at ExxonMobil from 1982 to 1996 as part of the New Orleans Drilling Organization. Vernard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 1977 and 1982.
