Jemaima Tiatia

Jemaima Tiatia is the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Pacific at University of Auckland. Jemaima has a long history of research and academic work in New Zealand, dating back to 2004. In their most recent role, they were responsible for Suicide and Mental Health for Pacific in NZ at Pacific Studies Faculty of Arts Universityof Auckland. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Consultant at Hibiscus Research from 2004 to 2011. From there, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Auckland from 2011 to 2014, before becoming a Research Fellow from 2014 to 2015.

Jemaima Tiatia has a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Auckland. Jemaima also has a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from the same school.
